Fal Seguridad exhibits at International Security, Safety and Fire exhibition
Fal Calzados de Seguridad has not missed its date one more year with the International, Safety and Fire exhibition SICUR (by its acronym in Spanish), that is taking place at this moment at the exhibition ground IFEMA, in Madrid, which has its doors opened until Friday the 23rd of February.

WORKING SECTOR
For the working sector, Fal Seguridad have big news at the exhibition, the new line Sneaker Protection, a new collection of safety footwear with a sportive look, suitable with the new working informal clothes, that will make the worker feel very comfortable and safe in his work and at the end of the day. New ground-breaking and eye-catching designs, bright colours that will give a very attractive look to the footwear.
Besides, there is another big piece of news in this line. Fal Calzados de Seguridad introduces the prestigious Michelin soles in some of the models. The safety and the performance of the Michelin tyres on the road are applied to the soles of this safety footwear thanks to the experience and knowledge gathered during the investigation of rubber and traction. The Michelin tyres give to the safety footwear of FAL the maximum comfort and a superior quality grip. The models of the footwear with Michelin sole are characterised for pull together style and versatility with designs of soles inspirited by the Michelin tyres.
POLICE AND SECURITY BODIES:
Two new and revolutionary types of footwear, they are the same version in boot style and in low shoe style, designed for police agents, models with Gore-Tex® Surround® technology constructed with lateral openings in the middle of the sole in order to give the footwear a modern and ground-breaking design that will give a climatic comfort 360º. This footwear offers a long lasting waterproofing and an extra of breathability thanks to its lateral ventilations of the sole that keeps the feet dry and comfortable. The Gore-Tex® Surround® technology makes the evacuation of the sweat easier and quicker so the feet can transpire 360º even doing the hardest activities.
The ventilations are located at the both sides of the sole. The humidity and the heat are evacuated through the upper side of the footwear and through the bellow side, passing through the Gore-Tex laminate arriving to the ventilation grid and to the holes of the midsole, from where they go to outwards through the lateral openings of the midsole. Regarding to the upper, it is made of textile materials so they are more ergonomic, lighter and more flexible.
The Vibram® Fuga sole counts with flexion bands along the outsole that makes the step more agile. The midsole made of phylon cushions the impacts and absorbs the weight of the user. This Vibram® Fuga sole also incorporates a TPU frame all around the outsole in order to get stability. The outsole counts with the Megagrip compound that gives an extra grip, furthermore it incorporates lateral cleats that give stability, stopping cleats at the heel section and one piece divided in two, that gives a total adaptation to the ground and its consequential grip.
FIREFIGHTERS, EMERGENCIES AND RESCUE
The news of this sector is starred by the MAGMA boot in its version PBI. It is the prestigious model MAGMA but made of PIB fabric instead of leather – fabric used in firefighting suits– completely fire resistant. The rest of its properties are:
- Non-metallic ultralight Vincap toecap, able to withstand an impact up to 200 jules, equivalent to the fall of a vertical mass of 20 Kg from one meter high, and a compression of 15Kn.
- Anti-puncture textile midsole that combines resistance with lightness and flexibility, and comfort with protection.
- Gore-Tex® Crosstech antiviral internal lining.
- Antistatic
- Fire resistant reflectors.
- Anti-deformation plastic ankle protection.
- Anti-cut and fire resistant seams made of Kevlar thread.
- Front and back flexion areas made of high resistance material. The front flexion zone is very wide in order to improve the ergonomics of the boot.
- Two colour nitrile rubber sole and polyurethane midsole that absorbs the impacts giving more comfort, it isolates from the cold and it is able to withstand the requirements of the firefighting normative (15090) about high resistance in environments with thermal risks.
